There’s a Storm Coming

hurricane Andrew heading to Florida

Hurricane Andrew 1992

I’m writing this on Labor Day, but it won’t post until Thursday. So as I write this, there is a hurricane brewing in the Atlantic with its sites set on us in south Florida. Though it’s too soon to tell, by the time this is posted, we could be a lot closer to landfall with a clearer path that this storm is taking.

As a survivor of Hurricane Andrew in 1992, I want nothing to do with riding out a hurricane, as I’m sure the survivors of Harvey can attest to. All the media is talking about having your hurricane plan completed quickly. Well, I know my plan: gas up and get out!

But this post is not about the pending hurricane, but a storm I feel has been heading our way for some time, say…2000 years? Lots of folks have been looking for the end times since Yeshua left. Every generation sees significance in the signs, as they should. Yeshua told us to watch for them and be prepared.

While I feel there is a storm coming, I’m not sure it is THE end, but a precursor – a storm that will forever change things.

new moon surrounded by ring of light

The Day the Moon Fell

I saw some friends today that I haven’t seen in a while. One of them mentioned he had the dream again. I knew instantly what he was talking about. It was a dream of an explosion, a strike. It was a dream he had about the same time I first dreamt of the moon falling. (A dream I’ve been thinking about a lot since the solar eclipse.) At that time, two other people had dreams that seemed to connect. One was my granddaughter, and in the post about the moon, I share the what and the how it is connected.

Here’s the bottom line: There is a storm coming, and God is calling us to get ready, to be prepared.

So I ask you, my friends, to read the three blog posts below. As you do, let the Spirit guide you with how He is calling you to participate in this preparedness, for we are all called to do the work of the Kingdom until He returns.

Above all, please remember that our God is in control, and He never says, “Whoops”.
